Most members of staff employ threatening tactics, similar to that used by most villains that we read of in literature. The demerit system employed at the school is abused by teachers constantly. It is a blessing that when applying for a position in the work force, employers do not ask the poor souls how many points they've racked up through the years of their schooling.

I have had children at this school for the past 7 years. During this time I have seen great growth. They are always looking for ways to improve things, being the children's education, the buildings or landscape. I would highly anyone looking for an islamic school to consider Al Siraat College. They hold "Look and Learn School Tours" every so often for prospective families to come and have a look around the school and have an opportunity to ask questions.

The school's so called 'Hands-off Policy' punishes students for ANY and ALL physical activity. Preventing fights are fair, but if kids can't be kids, then how are they to be raised as productive members of society. The initial aggressor is given the EXACT SAME punishment as the victim. A student cannot fight back without receiving some unfair and unjust consequence.

This school shows no interest in their own values of the values shared by Australian citizens. All schools should have the absolute primary goal of raising men and women ready to face the world. What the school focuses on, is anything but.

The previous reviews seem to have been written by children. Typical adolescent nonsense. Regardless of all that, Al Siraat College has been a wonderful resource and support system for the families of its community. The teachers love their work, the management is constantly evolving and improving the system and infrastructure of the school and the students are afforded respect and love by their teachers. We're extremely grateful to be part of this school, team and community.

Rather than wasting your time constructing demeaning comments, maybe use that time to come up with useful solutions to the "issues".

Students are constantly forced to be taught by teachers that are not chosen for their specialities or skills, but because they share the same race as the owner.

I love this school and so does my daughter. I'm extremely blessed and proud to be a part of this amazing, close knit school community. Their dedicated staff are wonderful and easy to approach, and the admin are always responsive and friendly. The school is progressing in so many positive ways.. the new technology building is state of the art! And the new canteen... WOW!!

The heads of the school show tyrannical qualities, treating the students as if they are being raised in a military recruitment camp.

I am quite baffled at the comments left by individuals concerning the school. Have you stepped foot inside and seen the hard work from the teachers and staff members to ensure the children are getting the best education?

The kindness and the respect that is shown towards students, parents and the general community is outstanding.
